OUR STORY

Abner was born and raised in Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil.  He grew up playing soccer barefoot on the streets, and living a simple life.  At the age of 15 he knew God was calling him to ministry and to missions.  He

Jewell first traveled to the Amazon at the age of 19, and fell in love with the people, the culture and the language.  She traveled to the frontier of Brazil & Colombia working with Indigenous tribes with another missionary woman.  During this time she met Abner, and he translated for her and they led worship together at various churches.  Little did they know, 5 years later they would reconnect and fall in love.  They married in 2021, and since then have been serving in missions in the Amazon.
